Accelerate is a partnership programme between ACCA and selected universities in the UK and Ireland.


The programme gives students of accredited accounting and finance programmes an early start to a successful career.


If your university is (or becomes) an Accelerate partner, you can look forward to:

  • An accelerated path to ACCA membership, receiving up to 9 exemptions
  • Enhanced career prospects with employers recruiting directly from the Accelerate programme, such as Dyson and SPXFlow
  • Employability tips and advice from influential business leaders
  • Discounted Accelerate joining fee and reduced exam exemption fees

  • My university is an Accelerate partner. How do I join the programme?

    First, talk to your course leader. They will be able to provide you with the eligibility letter you'll need to register.

  • My course isn't eligible but I'd still like to study for the ACCA Qualification. Can I?

    Yes, anyone can study for an ACCA qualification. To find out what level you could start at and what exemptions you may be applicable for, call our 24/7 'Connect' team on 0141 582 2000
