Arriving at The Adelphi

There are two entrances for ACCA at The Adelphi:

The ACCA entrance is via Adelphi Terrace (the side of the building closest to the river Thames). Please note that this entrance has three steps down into the offices.

The main building entrance is via John Adam Street. This entrance is fully accessible to our guests with mobility issues. ACCA guests with accessibility needs are welcome to use the John Adam Street entrance for their convenience.

Getting there

By underground

The nearest underground stations are Charing Cross (on the Bakerloo and Northern lines) and Embankment (on the Circle, District, and Bakerloo lines).

Both stations are a short 5-10 minutes walk from our offices.

By car

There is no ACCA reserved parking at The Adelphi, however there is limited on street parking, including a Disabled parking bay.  Additionally, there is an NCP car park nearby in Bedfordbury, London WC2N 4BP.

By taxi

Typical journey time from main line rail terminals:

  • Kings Cross, Euston, St Pancras (for Luton airport), Liverpool Street (for Stansted airport), Paddington (for Heathrow airport), Victoria (for Gatwick airport) = 20-30 minutes
  • Waterloo = 10 minutes.

From Heathrow

Take the Piccadilly line to Leicester Square, then the Northern line to Charing Cross

From Gatwick

Take the Gatwick Express to Victoria, then the District or Circle line to Embankment.

From Charing Cross station

Turn right from the station frontage onto Strand, right onto Adam Street and at the end of Adam Street turn right onto Adelphi Terrace - our entrance is on the right.

From Embankment station

Follow Villiers Street up the hill, turn right into John Adam Street. Turn right into Robert Street and then left at the end of Robert Street onto Adelphi Terrace - our entrance is on the left.
